getting ready for another school year

Valerie, Erik  and Victoria drove out to get Victoria ready to start her college studies at BYU I. We are excited for her!!

we still continue to bike by the Linden temple, this will be our temple in 2025! we love to go and serve and feel the peace in and around the temple.

 

Bear lake monster swim

what great example of setting a goal and working hard to achieve it! Layla with Derek helping her by swimming along side and pacing her. swam across Bear lake, that is 7 and a half miles of cold warer 68 degrees in about 4 and a half hours., Miss following in the boat, other swimners had kayaks following them! it was an amazing feet and we are so happy for her obtaining her goal

jake swam a mile with parallel to the shore for the first part of the race, so happy for him.

Missy and Izaak and kallie stayed in the boat, with food and encouraging words along the way

we again celebrated Jims birthday, and it really way his birthday

we kayaked up to Idaho !!

so happy to be able to stay last minute at Nolan and Claudias,, THANKYOU!!

on tthe drive up we came through Logan canyon for a beautiful canyon ride  and back we went through wyoming, for the two day adventure we enjoyed seeing more of America and I am reminded that my moms family frist settled in Bear lake area, the MORRISON AND WOOLLEY  families. Happy to be reminded of out freedom snd health to be able to travel together. Still celebtating!

 

Sioux Falls to Niagra falls. part two

Fort Niagara might have been where Jim and I first met!! Jim worked there in High school and my family visited there when he was there, so mmmmaybe we met a long time ago as he was dressed as a British soldier

always a favorite,, the 4 church steeples in Palmayra where young Joseph lived surrounded by churches but not knowing which one to join, Going to Palmayra was the next highlight on our travel across America. I felt my own testimony strengthened by being reminded of Feeding my Sheep, including my own.

She was gracious and poised and we are so happy that she was honored here in this national dance competition in Niagra falls , This is highlight for me, to follow her journey and her maturity with her talent. I love you VickyT, this is well earned!
