families share Eden

Most of us have tried to stay home and safe during the  pandemic. As soon as Michigan opened we planned a Local trip for Val and family to travel to. We couldnt wait to get together and share family time. Jason and Derek found this spot up in Northern Utah near Huntsville called Eden. Many family members had to continue working and many had to give up activities that were just starting up.

Mariah had to come on crutches as we awaited to get the results of her MRI.

We are so glad that we got to visit with a lot of the family most of the time. Here we are sharing cooking time together
Always time for siblings to share fun memories
HOME MADE ice cream anyone

We bought a kayak and Jiim invented a safe way to transport and  travel with it

honoring Fathers

The latest invention, a dolly to wheel the new kayak up onto the truck! Hopefully he can market this! When we took it to the lake someone commented on it!
We made it to Deer Creek for our first kayaking trip.We look forward to many more trips.-- less work and more play!

In the mean time, it is cherry picking time and we need to beat the birds before they get them all.

Our  victory garden is a winner this year! Jim started in April and hear you can see pea, broccoli , cabbage and cauliflower all ready to pick. We also have a never ending supply of onions and kale. Jim worked hard to get this started and this has been one of our best gardens yet! We love picking out our healthy meal each day!.

Here are "my three dads"  Jaron, Tanner and Jim working hard on the lanscaping of Jarons back and side yard. Tanner is the father of Auggie, our first great grand son.

Yes, I did help yesterday with the landscaping but the best fun was playing with Auggie.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY!. lets find the good and love throughout the world!

peace in nature

yesterday I sought peace as I traveled on my bike. The beauty and memories of temples all over the world reminded me of my faith and hope.
I didnt miss the double rainbow, God has not forgotten His promise. We need to do our part
Our getaway last week started with a dance off, Nik said it was one of his favorite activities! Everyone joined in, I just dont have photos of me!

We gathered all the swim toys and went swimming and hot tubing

the first day at Lake Mead we hunted for a dock and played on the beach and rocks

We hiked to the petroglyphs.. Native American drawings high up about Santa Clara

We biked the trails and Izaak learned how to bike a gear bike, Jim and I brought 7 bikes on our truck!!!!!
soaking up lot of Vitamin D

lots of preparation goes into getting the boat ready

As I reflect back to only a week ago, the peaceful memories of the beauty in nature, the joy of being together outside, the contrasting colors of the St George landscape I pray for peace.
