Saturday afternoon at Big River

Derek has always talked about his favorite musical so I decided to take all the family (that was here and could go) to see Big River. We had Pizza and snacks before,, but because I had hand surgery 3 days before, I kept it easy--strawberries, yogurt and lemon cake, grapes and pizza. Nik loved the food but he was too young to go. Blake loved getting some vitamin D before a basketball game. We missed Peter and Mabel as they were too young. The music was fun and light. We ended the evening at the first Womens Conference were Nattie and Victoria and even Karissa could go! I love my family and look forward to sharing my love with them

more mini Chatterley trip

Here we are on the St johns River which is the 5 largest in USA. It has gaters and all kinds of birds and we stopped at Manetu (SP?) Blue Springs to see the creatures that must live in 72 degree water, which sailors at one kind called Mermaids, they must have been pretty lonely because they are pretty ugly. St Patricks day was celebrated in the green rain shopping. He next  day we drove and stopped at a Georgia Peach roadside. We arrived in Hilton Head and rented bikes. Friday we drove to Savannah and stood in line for 2 hours to eat at Aunt Wilkes Boarding house and walked around downtown Savannah,, We had a lovely visit. It would be great to serve a mission in Savannah, it has alot of spirit

We also photoed the river side. Also included is the Lighthouse at the Hilton Head resort in South Carolina, The photo with Len in the front is the day we celebrated his birthday. We had great fun learning and reviewing the Chatterley childhoods, ME and the Pose with the Statue is just having fun while we shopped on the rainy day in Orlando,, It was St Patricks Day and we spent the time shopping and sharing more fun. Len and Jo came from Sioux  Tim and Rita live in Orlando.

winter break at the Mercados 2014

I had a great visit to Michigan, I left Utah with the snow in the front yard almost gone, to a cul de sac/igloo  in Canton. As cold as it was outside, the opposite was going on inside. We began with teaching the salsa to the Youth at church Some said it was the best activity ever, (we still have it,, Val and I made a great time, Val moved her hips and I counted out the beats)  The next day we went roller skating, then shopping and treats, reading dancing, singing, playing, and sharing, Valerie and Jason got to go the temple and I got to spoil the kids. We love experimenting with cooking and this time it was using dates,, we made rice, bread, cookies, and now Jim is enjoying our new recipes.
