personal strength through the Atonement

I gave the RS lesson last week on Elder Scotts recent talk on the Atonement, At first, I thought, great I am physically strong. I am great for this lesson,but that didnt last long. After reading Elder Hollands paper on what the Atonement was I was indeed humbled and then even more so when I could tell that I was getting the flu (which I havent had for a few years) I learned what earnestly praying for strength was as I tried  to pull myself out of the bed to do my last preparation, and there on good old facebook was a story from Steph Weideman Johnson about sacrifice/donuts/seminary.
 So I presented a lesson with alot of help from the sisters/prayer/preparation and OUR SAVOIR

RASMUS LUND reunion in Midway with 3 cousins David and Lorin

The RASMUS HANSEN LUND scrolls. We are lucky to have found each other through working at the Family Search files and the Puzilla cousin spider web found on Family Search, David Lund responded to my email and facebook and through him we went to Lorin Lunds home in Midway. Here we had a great visit and shared our Lund family stories and got to see the scrolls from our great grand father Rasmus, my father Gordon, his father Djalmar's father. I am excited to get more info and have more visits,  The day started with Jim working hard on our handicapped bathroom... Lucky me

A visit from Divonne Fr with Colette

Colette came to see her son graduate from his masters from BYU, We had a good visit finding out that many of our YSA from Switzerland are now married and living in Ferney Voltaire and even have started their families. We feel so blessed to be apart of their lifes, We also got to show her around Temple Square, We had fun taking many photos of the beautiful temple and the flowers
