Chatterley Reunion on the Oregon Coast

This reunion was planned to Honor Tanner returning from his mission in Ghana, in the mean time the weekend that Tanner came home, Seth got engaged to Mackenzie, so we had a lot of fun time honoring them all. We drove two days to end at the Oregon Coast. It is a beautiful coast, even prettier that So Cal, , mostly because there are not a lot of people. It was cooler. We hiked to some falls, went to look at Light Houses and some went fishing and caught a lot of crab and fish. We celebrated two birthdays, the twins Chloe and Tate and Kevin. The cousins loved being together and we loved sharing our time and love with them.

Morrison Cousins

Thanks to Annette to planning this Morrison cousins get together while Craig and Terry were in town. Claudia and Nolan are serving in the Temple for a few years and we just heard that Elaine and her husband will be serving in Moscow starting in November. It is so good to have the family serving the Lord in the later years. We owe so much to grandma and grandpa for setting the example for service for us. Our cousins have stayed in contact more since we have had facebook and now that we are living in Utah it is even better. Family History stories and photos are so important for our testimony growth and unity in the family

I love being with the grandchildren

More of family reunion

cousins helped each other, Nattie and Victoria were Joyce and Jean in more ways than one. Here Kallie and Erik are doing puzzles together.(they were both born while we were on our mission in Geneva. We went on the Aagot Marie renamed the Moose by the grandkids, we went to Deer Creek and Jordonelle. I liked the second one better as there was a beach and shade and a kids area to play. Sundays we had FHE with games, songs and good times with grandpa. Everyone hiked to the top of the Y,,well almost everyone, the two grandmas (Terry and I) rushed down the hill to get Nattie to her violin lesson on time, after that we all went to Park City to swim and ride the gondola with Craig and his group. Terry came early to do the last minute prep for the reunion, there was a lot of last minute coordination that made for a lot of stress on my part. I couldnt have done it with out everyones help. We had over 100 people attend, After the kids worked hard at serving the food for the whole group, Dan had them run off all their wiggles and giggles. He also made over 200 cookies using his famous recipe. Jim filled in with everything that was needed the day of the reunion. set up, serve up, clean up,,, all done up... THANKS  JIM. You are the best

Preparing for fun

Jim loves serving the family. For the Lund reunion we made shields and swords.  For me, I love the musicals, so we all went to see Mary Poppins at the Scera. The kids and most of the adults ate for over an hour while we laughed and played waiting for the real play to start,

busy JUNE

Karina turned 40 June 7 and started back to school to study nursing. I headed off to Michigan and drove back with Val and children. When we arrived we started preparing for the LUND Reunion. We made apron, shields, swords, Marshmellow guns, put together decorations for the reunion. We all went to see Mary Poppins and met Nikki and her kids. The kids wrote a skit about the courtship of Joyce, Jean, and Gordon. It was a very busy time, which also included making water bottle holders and hiked the Y, went to the movies and swiming, hot tub, pic nics and a lot of laughing and love
