Last Thursday was a big fete-holiday Ascension. It is the day that they celebrate Christ going up to Heaven (ascending), forty days after Easter, so it changes every year, And it is always on Thursday, so that makes it a 4 day weekend, But, we saw no one going to church!
We had 4 baptism this weekend. They were all young, one of them comes to the Centre with her mother.
This month we are fasting for finding those interested in learning about the gospel. As there are many, many churches here, but not too much interest in the people who are native to this beautiful area of the world.
We have a two pet birds that are not afraid to come right up to the window to get some treats
