Becoming kinder

Blake loved a great big burger and here he is with Jim on one of our trips.

Up in McCall the ice cream was always a highlight, On this trip he wanted to drive back before the rest of the family and I needed to get back also. I was a little worrie about the longlong drive but we talked the whole way home. WHAT ! yes I started sking about his favorite basketball players then we moved on to other sports , food, music and the full day drive went very quickly with an added loved of all things BLAKE.

but, of course, much of our time together is finding the food for everyone

Blake loved his hats, and  so glad he wears them

more sports, Blake loved almost all sports, from football, la crosse, soccer, basketball, skiing, mts biking. One time when Andrew and Blake were young I was pitching to them in the fromt yard, up in SLC home and Blake knew just how to step up ,reach  out and connect with the pitch, He had a great phuysicality about him.

we traveled many places together. here NYC

I love this photo  as it captures the joy he had when Mariah loved the gift that he gave her

more cruising around with family

We love Blakes smile

we are so glad we got to share in birthdays and various holidays. We got to know Blake and his tender  heart
his love of animals, particularily the cats which he made sure they could get to his room

Blake would have been 25 this Sept. he said LIFE is here for us to become kinder and he showed us the way.
we celebrated his life with the McDonald family and his many loyal friends

I miss you Blake. I KNOW that you are with my son Erik , your granpa McDonald and Uncle Aaron, all who passed too soon also.
I am going to try to follow your admonition to be kinder
because you are
