mission home barbeque

We had a great turn out for our CfJA (Centre de Jeunes Aultes), over 26 including some missionaries. We were happy to see some that do not come to the Centre came to the Barbeque and suppose that the location of the mission home is much nicer than downtown Geneva. There is a large yard, room for all kinds of games, American football, ping pong and Frisbee. There was even a bread war which ended up bloody (French pain is very crunchy, rough, and hard on the outside, but very tasty) The way they barbeque is using French bread as the roll and no condiments. Many choices for meat including tofu, but most used sausages. The mission home has been used by the church for 50 years and now they are searching for another home in Lyon (2 hours away) as the mission boundaries are changing and it will be north and south France instead. It is located it a very rich area Chambesy off Lac Leman (Geneva, Switzerland). To finish off the day, we had baked beans and potato salad and ice cream for dessert.
